Since I am on the frosting kick... can someone say sugar high? Anyway... David's dad found this recipe for less sugary substitute for frosting and it is his favorite. I think it might have come off of a box or out of a newspaper. Wherever it came from, we love it.
Cool Whip Pudding Frosting
1 8 oz. container of Cool Whip
1 box of instant pudding (any flavor/sugar free or regular will all work)
1 c. milk
Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and use mixer to mix. Frost over cooled cake or cupcakes. We like to add a little sliced strawberries to the top of the cake. It's wonderful.
